My blogging performance has become increasingly poor, and as such, and with the approach of a summer that I hope will be filled with fun, I have decided to stop blogging. I have left a few posts up for now, and haven’t decided whether to take the blog down for good or perhaps return after a break. We shall see! Until then, be safe and good and have lots of fun!
Hello lovely boots! I know, summer is coming etc etc, but I am a winter person (for all my moaning about the cold), and I have been offered the chance to move back to Scandinavia before autumn, which would mean a cold, cold, icy winter and the need for some scrumptious boots! If a UK seller popped up magically, I’d fall over myself for some No6 clog boots:
Alternatively, some Minimarket or Hasbeens would really do me nicely…
I’m pathetically eager about all of the above. However, at the moment all I can think about are these Kurt Geiger beauties, as seen on Voguish, with graduation this summer in mind (SCARY) and basically any event ever, because these are multi-taskers if ever I saw any:
I’m fond of this Stine Goya dress (scratch that, I’m MAD ABOUT IT, I THINK IT’S LOVELYYYYY), though am a little concerned that some people may attach political significance to its colour, even when there is none, with election fever running high in the UK at the moment… Anyway, how easy is it to pull off wearing yellow/amber/orange? I fear for myself that the colour would be awful on me. My heart says yes and my head says no! (My head also says “stop blogging and do some more work”, and for once I’m listening…)
I would glaaaaaadly stock my wardrobe with Monki delights, given the chance! But as said before, that chance becomes more tangible come summertime!
Dobrý den! Prague is beautiful and full of the joys of spring, I only had to stop by to vent my lusting over the news that Uniqlo’s +J line has 50% off! Simple lines and classic shapes, is a trench the perfect base for any wardrobe? My new purchasing rules demand an avoidance of sales, but would this piece be the best foundation for my new commandments?!
Yes yes yes, excuses excuses. But what is the perfect base for any wardrobe?
UPDATE: I folded, my wardrobe is camel-ed up for spring. Hurrah!
Oh, Uniqlo! The first dress above appeared and sold out in the course of yesterday in most sizes having only appeared that day, and who can wonder why? I feel a summer-themed Uniqlo order tempting me menacingly.
I got some beautiful rings in the post courtesy of the glorious Soop this morning, a jolly Easter surprise indeed! More on those as soon as I capture some photos that convey just how lovely they are.
Today I’m wearing Stine Goya IN MY DREAMS. How perfect are all those shades?! I’m actually battling Swedish playwright August Strindberg’s self-indulgent forewords and struggling to claw back any fluency in spoken Norwegian and generally entering into the misery of revision with nothing but a home-made sandwich and coffee in a paper cup to break the monotony. Good day, one and all!
