Vladimir Karaleev

I just had a girlish fit of excitement at Vladimir Karaleev’s latest offerings, a structure-led, architectural dream! Fine designs:

If I had broader, manlier shoulders I’d immediately reach for the first piece above, I hope there are men out there who will embrace such design! As for the dresses, they’re pretty and very, very wearable, which I always like to see from any designer (not to say I’m not a fan of whimsical pieces that would look out of place on anything but a clothing rack/model…) PLUS, flat shoes and they look dreamy! Refreshing. Even more interestingly, he had all his models stand entirely still for the collection’s showing, almost like intallation art. Thumbs up for this Berlin-based designer. Pictures from Canvas magazine, where an interview has also been posted. Bonus!
