Heal me!

A very superficial view says one thing. Compare autumn/winter 2009…:

… with spring/summer 2010:

COLOUR EXPLOSION! As you all know I am a big grey-black-navy fan, but even I feel uplifted when viewing Heal’s latest offerings. There is quite literally way too much good stuff in this collection for me to post it all without taking hours and killing your hard-drives with one bumper-picture-filled-burst. And what I can’t include here is their amazing, motion-filled website, little stop-motion films of every ensemble, they look divine and the model is a contortionist’s dream. However! Here are some (read: looooooaaaaaaads) of my top favourites:

Their use of texture and tubing and colour and stitching is unrivalled. For those of us who don’t live in Paris and won’t make it there before the summer, where on earth is it possible to get a hold of some of these beautiful, beautiful things?!

Anyway, looking at what Heal describe as “organ tubes” on their pieces, I cannot deny that this episode of classic Doctor Who jumped instantly to mind:

Go costume department! Cha-ching.
