Two tribes go to war…

with 3 comments

Just a quuuuuuick little post this morning before I head out, because I keep thinking about how I posted once before about the wee rise in exotic-themed bits and pieces emerging lately, and it seems it was just the beginning. Exotic, wild animal, desert-themed, jungle-loving and far-flung, tribal patterns are everywhere! ASOS have just launched their Global Glamour collection, but they’re just one of a host of names going for the trend. My absolute favourite take on the whole thing is definitely coming from my beloved Heal, who have taken flamingos, the most colourful, odd-looking, exotic bird of the lot, and done wonderful things with them:

Shakuhachi‘s chasing cheetahs:

Exotic birds and monkeys from See by Chloe:

Wah Nails are going for proper animal prints and tribal patterns to be envied:

Jean Paul Gaultier’s doing space age tribal:

Whilst Acne are throwing us desirable Navajo prints:

… And Thief and Bandit are doing nice things with the whole look:

I quite literally do not know where to begin, other than that it will be colourful and patterned and delightful and populated with jungle creatures and perfected with some desert boots and military style shorts for summertime. Safari!
